Join a leading federal healthcare consulting contract as a Project Manager, dedicated to transforming healthcare for veterans through strategic health informatics initiatives.As the designated Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of health informatics projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance with federal regulations and standards. You will be responsible for tracking project costs, schedules, and performance progress, and identifying and mitigating risks.Your expertise in health informatics or electronic health records projects, preferably within the Veterans Health Administration, will be essential in driving successful initiatives and enhancing healthcare services for veterans. Responsibilities: 

  • Manage IT projects focused on health informatics and electronic health records.
  • Oversee full project life cycle from planning to implementation and maintenance.
  • Track project costs, schedules, and performance progress.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
  • Apply SAFe’s Lean Agile principles and practices to drive value and sustain organizational change.
  • Empower and lead high-performing Agile teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards.
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders and project teams.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within IT, focusing on health informatics or electronic health records projects.
  • Proven expertise in managing IT projects using life cycle and project management methodologies.
  • Extensive experience in tracking project costs, schedules, and performance progress.
  • Strong ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Demonstrated capability in applying SAFe’s Lean Agile principles and practices.
  • Preferably experience within the Veterans Health Administration or a similar environment.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
