Role Description:

As the Head of Engineering for Vision Pro, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technological vision and strategy for Realy's initiatives in the United States. The ideal candidate is a seasoned engineering leader with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions in dynamic markets. Operating at the forefront of technological advancement, you will lead a diverse team in addressing complex challenges, translating ideas into cohesive and singular directions.

Your role involves fostering a culture of innovation, overseeing the implementation of cutting-edge technologies, and driving collaborative efforts within cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for setting and achieving strategic engineering goals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products, and contributing to comprehensive solutions that redefine the landscape of Vision Pro experiences in the United States.

Requirements

  • Highly proficient in programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Swift
  • Familiarity with Unity XR and visionOS SDK: ARKit, RealityKit, and SwiftUI
  • Experience doing rapid prototyping. Good intuition in making time vs. complexity tradeoffs.
  • Superior understanding in VR design principles, 3D modelling or physics
  • Extraordinary attention to detail
  • Experience leading and developing a team of highly skilled engineers in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience collaborating with other disciplines including design, art, and quality assurance
