We are looking to fill an audio-visual installer job opening. It involves the installation of audio and visual equipment in various settings, such as offices, conference rooms, military spaces, and educational institutions. A little work experience will help but it is not necessary, as we are willing to train. We believe in continuous learning and development and provide opportunities for our employees to enhance their skills and knowledge. Our goal is to create a fulfilling and rewarding work experience for all our employees.

Responsibilities

· Load/Unload job equipment, materials, tools

· Pulling, labeling termination, and testing of all wiring

· Installing and configuring audio-visual equipment, e.g. - displays, projectors, screens, video walls, sound systems, microphones, and building component racks.

· Reading wiring diagrams to guide the installation process

· Perform basic troubleshooting

· Perform semi-skilled maintenance and repair

· Staying up-to-date with the latest audio-visual technology and trends

· May drive company vehicles and operate other company equipment such as forklifts and scissors lit following safety recommendations.

· Communicate job progress via daily job reports

· Report any problem or discrepancies to the supervisor in a timely manner

· Install systems in accordance with codes and standards as directed

· Cleans and maintains shop areas, work site, company vehicle, and storage areas

· Always follow all safety regulations and guidelines and wears appropriate personal protective equipment as required

· Performs all other duties as assigned

Education/Experience

· High School Diploma or G.E.D and one to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured.

· Obtain required training as directed by the Company to be knowledgeable on industry standards.

 

Technical Skills

· Ability to use small power tools.

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.

 

Interpersonal Skills

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Must work well in a team environment.

 

Language Skills

· Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, blueprints, and floor plans.

· Ability to communicate effectively verbally with co-workers, subcontractors, site supervisor, and management.
