Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess health status, identify underlying imbalances, and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize a functional medicine approach to address a wide range of health concerns, including chronic diseases, hormonal imbalances, weight management, and micronutrient deficiencies.
- Order and interpret advanced diagnostic tests, including hormone testing, genetic testing, and micronutrient analysis, to guide treatment decisions.
- Prescribe evidence-based therapies and interventions, including hormone therapy, nutritional supplementation, lifestyle modifications, and stress management techniques.
- Educate patients about the principles of functional medicine and empower them to take an active role in their health and well-being.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including nutritionists, naturopathic doctors, and mental health professionals, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
