THIS ROLE REQUIRES HEAVY TRAVEL

As a Senior Traveling Project Manager for our client, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating mechanical construction projects across various locations. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your duties will include project planning, scheduling, budget management, resource allocation, subcontractor coordination, and client communication. You will also be required to travel regularly to project sites, providing on-site leadership and troubleshooting to ensure project success.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management within the mechanical contracting industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration systems, as well as relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage diverse teams and build strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore, Primavera).
  • Willingness to travel extensively to project sites as needed.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
