Job Description:
HRU Technical Resources has partnered with an American multinational corporation that designs, manufactures, and distributes engines, filtration, and power generation products to help hire an Electrical Support Specialist (2nd Shift). We are seeking candidates to join our team specializing in troubleshooting, assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable for our location in Columbus, IN.

Responsibilities:
•    Troubleshoots, assembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical systems using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable.
•    Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment.
•    Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and specifications using various tools, measuring, and testing instruments.
•    Fully proficient in performing troubleshooting, electrical repairs, and maintenance of equipment.
•    Conforms applicable codes and standards to maintain, install and operate electrical systems.
•    Participates actively with local Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
•    Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) - Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. Stop work and immediately report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.

Requirements:
•    High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience (EG: GED) to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
•    Must have strong PLC troubleshooting, the ability to read electrical prints, and use logic to diagnose equipment
•    Must be able to work from heights, operate fork truck and PIV, and utilize hoist and crane
•    A strong industrial/manufacturing background is preferred.
•    Knowledge of PLCs, CNC Controls, Servos, Spindles, and Microns (ultra-precision) preferred.
•    The ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus.

Work Environment / Other Info:
•    This will be a 2nd shift role. Hours are generally 2:45pm to 11:15pm, Monday to Friday.
•    This role will have mandatory and voluntary overtime based on the needs of the facility.
•    You will need to pass a background check, fit for work physical, and drug screen (including cannabis) for this role.
