We are seeking a talented and creative graphic Prints/Patterns Apparel Designer to join our client's dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fashion trends, color theory, and print design, and previous experience designing Hawaiian patterns This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate creative concepts into stunning print and pattern designs for apparel.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop original and innovative all-over print and pattern repeatable designs that align with the brand's aesthetic and target market.
  • Research and analyze current fashion trends, market demands, and competitor analysis to identify design opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop print and pattern concepts for various apparel categories.
  • Create digital artwork and illustrations using industry-standard design software (Adobe Illustrator).
  • Prepare print and pattern designs for production, including technical specifications and colorways.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements in print and pattern design techniques.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on design direction.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
  • 2+ years of patterns and prints apparel design experience
  • Strong proficiency in pattern drafting and grading techniques
  • Excellent knowledge of garment construction and sewing methods
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Previous Hawaiian pattern experience a huge plus
