Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and business-savvy Senior Data Governance Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in setting up and executing data governance models within the Health Insurance space, with a strong background in healthcare data management.  The person will step in to backfill some existing data sharing efforts, while being point person to assess current maturity, advise client, and create a new governance roadmap.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience assessing maturity, and designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive data governance model tailored to the needs of the payor space, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Business Acumen: Data governance is a business function.  The individual will have business data governance experience with ability to create data governance principles from the business context (compliance, regulatory, policy, etc)
  • Healthcare Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience working with Blue Plans or other large payor organizations, with a deep understanding of healthcare data management and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business units, IT teams, and external partners to align data governance practices with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Informatica tool suite with respect to data management capabilities
