We are seeking a Manager Of Operations for our Home Care Agency, who wants to become a part of our team You'd be responsible for the day-to-day operations, financial health, and direction of the business. This position is crucial in directing operational activities for the Medicaid and Private Pay Business Segment. Must also be able to lead expansion of contracting Veterans Administration cases (VA), as well as Medicare cases. This position is a subject matter expert, responsible for leading, operationalizing and supporting all aspects of the Home Care Plan’s line of business. Someone who has been in operations in a successful Home Care Agency in South Carolina is our ideal candidate. Instead of a minimum salary to start, we are offering to anyone we hire a large share of the business profits. Simply put, we are offering you the opportunity to step into a Home Care Agency in South Carolina, that is already licensed and ready to go, and if you are able to make it successful and profitable, you will reap the benefit with a large share of all net profits you generate. It will be entirely performance based. You must have an entrepreneurial spirit, and be able to run the Home Care Agency from top to bottom. This will include the hiring and training of the staff, doing the billing, and growing the business itself through acquiring new cases for our caregivers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strategic plan including operational structure and staffing to ensure compliance with all Centers for Medicaid (CMS) and state annual regulatory requirements related to Medicaid, Private Pay, VA, or Medicare Operations
  • Ensures the timely submission of all bid and implementation materials to the Health Plan Management System (HPMS).
  • Ensure the successful completion of the peer review process, prior to any documents or materials uploaded/submitted to CMS and state regulators of South Carolina
  • Serves as a first point of contact for all Medicaid regulatory matters related to business operations.
  • Maintains highly effective working relationships with delegated vendors and internal business stakeholders (SMEs) to ensure performance metrics are met and identifies opportunities for improvement for growth.
  • Establish HR practices within the business.

​Qualifications:

  • Expertise in South Carolina Medicaid rules, regulations, and Home Care operations.
  • Experience interpreting CMS guidance memos, regulations, MCMG and communicating interpretations to internal stakeholders and external stakeholders, as needed.
  • Proven professional experience building consensus, and communicating clear directions among staff
  • Proven history of successful results in managing issues and driving strategic program initiatives.
  • 3-5+ years leading and participating in Home Care-related procurements
  • Contract management and negotiation skills
