Position Summary:
Robinson Toyota is seeking a skilled and certified Automotive Technician to join our service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with ASE certifications being a significant advantage. While an ASE Master Technician Certification is a plus, it is not mandatory. We are looking for a motivated individual who can work on a variety of makes and models, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair services on a wide range of vehicles, including Toyota models and other makes.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to ensure precise and effective repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with service advisors to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • ASE certification in one or more areas is required: A1 - Engine Repair, A2 - Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, A3 - Manual Drive Train and Axles, A4 - Suspension and Steering, A5 - Brakes, A6 - Electrical/Electronic Systems, A7 - Heating and Air Conditioning, A8 - Engine Performance. 
  • ASE Master Diagnostic Tech
  • Manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., Toyota Technician Certification) are advantageous.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with colleagues and customers.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive annual salary up to $100,000 based on experience and performance (flat rate pay system).
  • Relocation bonus of up to $10,000 for the right candidate.
