Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. As a Restoration Technician, you will play a critical role in the restoration process, working on a variety of projects involving water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, and other restoration services. You will work alongside our experienced team to provide high-quality restoration services to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Damage Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of damaged properties to determine the extent of damage and develop a restoration plan.
Restoration Work: Perform restoration work, including water extraction, structural drying, mold remediation, fire and smoke damage cleanup, and other related tasks.
Removal and Disposal: Safely remove and dispose of damaged materials, including debris, contaminated materials, and hazardous substances, following industry best practices.
Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain restoration equipment and tools, such as dehumidifiers, air movers, and mold remediation equipment, ensuring they are in proper working order.
Documentation: Complete detailed documentation of restoration work, including photographs, notes, and reports, to provide accurate records for clients and insurance claims.
Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and project managers, providing updates on the progress of restoration projects and addressing any concerns or questions.
Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safety of yourself and your team members during restoration projects.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including project managers, estimators, and fellow technicians, to ensure efficient and successful project completion.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not required.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work in emergency situations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Commitment to safety and following industry best practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Chapin, SC 29036: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Restoration: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response Training (Preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 25% (Preferred)
