As we continue to grow, we seek a talented Commission-Based Area Director to oversee and build a team of managers and direct sales agents, driving sales performance and ensuring operational excellence.
Position Overview: The Area Director will be responsible for managing and guiding a team of sales managers and direct sales agents within a designated geographic area. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. The Area Director will play a key role in developing and implementing sales strategies to drive growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales managers and direct sales agents to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand SimpliMatch’s market presence and increase revenue.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Conduct regular meetings with sales managers to review performance, address challenges, and develop action plans.
- Ensure consistent implementation of sales processes and best practices across the team.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Identify and address training needs, providing coaching and development opportunities for team members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to support business growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Manage budget and resources effectively to maximize return on investment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Area Director, Regional Sales Manager, or similar role, with a track record of leading successful sales teams.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and performance metrics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel as needed within the designated area.
