Job Title: Tax Credit Compliance Manager

We specialize in managing properties under the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, ensuring that individuals and families have access to safe, comfortable, and affordable homes.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Tax Credit Compliance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing compliance with the LIHTC program regulations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of tax credit compliance for properties under the LIHTC program.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance with program regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Train property management staff on LIHTC compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and auditors during inspections and audits.
  • Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to LIHTC program regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee one property manager in Newport News & travel weekly to site for training.
