  • Optimizes the performance of information and communication systems by monitoring performance, utilizing resources efficiently, and adjusting hardware and software parameters.

  • Adheres to company best practices for problem resolution and tracking. Provides timely and clear communication to customers.

  • Collaborates effectively with various IT team members and other business units, ensuring proper engagement and educational interactions with both internal colleagues and external clients.

  • Administers and implements all aspects of the backup solution including maintaining a regular system backup schedule and coordinating offsite storage and backup media.

  • Demonstrates self-motivation and responsiveness to Management and customers

  • Possesses the ability to work successfully and effectively within a team structure.

  • Exhibits strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Has experience working with time tracking/ticketing software preferred.

  • Displays exceptional ability to develop productive and positive relationships.

  • Handles incoming support requests via phone and email from end users, and performs advanced troubleshooting and remediation for hardware, software, and networking issues.

  • Installs, diagnoses, repairs, and maintains computer and networking equipment to ensure optimal system performance.

  • Implements hands-on fixes, including software and hardware installations and upgrades as well as system and application configuration.

  • Responsible for responding to, documenting, and resolving service tickets on time according to SLA.

  • Conducts root cause analysis, documents common problems, and recommends procedures and solutions for problem prevention.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Associate's degree in IT related field, with two years’ experience in Windows systems administration.

  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 Tenant preferred.

  • Experience working with Azure or AWS, preferred.

  • Experience working with virtual machines preferred.

  • Telecommunications experience is a plus.

  • Ability to provide solid levels of system up-time by proactively maintaining systems and security protocols.

  • Ability to follow directions, understand and adhere to team procedures and company best practices.

  • Passion for excellence in customer service and furthering one’s own knowledge.

  • Displays integrity, respect, and confidentiality.

  • Highly organized and accurate with strong attention to detail.

  • Strong documentation abilities with a focus on detail.

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Understanding of general business concepts.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

  • Available to think outside the box to solve complex problems
