Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Hair Stylist with a strong expertise in ethnic hair to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hair care, skilled in a variety of techniques, and dedicated to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert hair styling, cutting, coloring, and treatments with a focus on ethnic hair.
  • Consult with clients to understand their needs and provide professional advice on hair care and maintenance.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and products in ethnic hair care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
  • Ensure high standards of hygiene and sanitation are met.
  • Build and maintain a loyal client base through exceptional service.

Requirements:

  • Valid New Jersey Cosmetology License.
  • Proven experience and expertise in working with ethnic hair.
  • Strong knowledge of various hair types, textures, and the appropriate products and techniques.
  • Must have their own salon tools (e.g., blow dryer, flat irons, curling irons, combs, clips, brushes).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Passion for hair care and commitment to continuous learning.
