Job Summary:

The Full-Time Custodian will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for our students, staff, and visitors. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the daily upkeep of Temple Facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms, hallways, offices, cafeteria, gymnasium, childcare room areas, and other common areas.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors as needed.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
  • Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the facilities manager.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
