We are seeking a Commodity Trader in the Greater Orlando area to backfill a tenured employee preparing for retirement. The Commodity Trader is accountable for the administrative, financial, and execution of investment strategies, and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve clients assets and report accurate financial results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Track market performance at domestic and international scales.
  • Buy and sell goods at a price the client agrees on.
  • Monitor and execute the implementation of strategic investment plans.
  • Execute strategies for hedging.
  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the management team.
  • Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team.
  • Negotiate commodity purchases from third parties, arrange logistics of product delivery, process payment of invoices.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions utilizing the company's internal processing software system.
  • Analyze various reports about the market.
  • Operate tools and platforms for trading.
  • Report financial results.
  • Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's investment portfolio.
  • Construct and monitor reliable control systems.
  • Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.
  • Maintain FCM and customers relationships. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration. 
  • Analytical, highly detail-orientated, Decision Making, Customer Service, Problem-Solving.
  • General Financial Knowledge of Commodities Market/Trading

RELOCATION / WORK VISA

  • This is a full-time position based in Windemere (Orlando) FL.
  • This position DOES OFFER relocation assistance BUT no Visa sponsorship at this time.
  • This is not a remote or hybrid position.
