Senior Accounts Payable Specialist with Light Management Responsibilities

We are searching for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Process, verify, and approve invoices for payment in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage vendor relationships, including resolving discrepancies and communicating payment timelines.
- Reconcile accounts payable and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze various reports related to accounts payable activity.
- Provide guidance, training and support to other staff members while contributing to various aspects of the accounting department.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the accounts payable processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting principles and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience leading and mentoring junior staff members (a plus).
