Job Title: Customer Service Specialist

Location: Winchester, VA

Payrate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Experienced in engaging with consumers, providing product support through professional email and phone communication.

• Excellent at order entry including entering orders for sample products and direct import shipments to commercial customers.

• Responsible for billing direct import shipments to commercial customers and from third party warehouses.

• Promptly respond to online reviews, providing answers to questions.

• Maintain a warranty replacement spreadsheet, providing support to the shipping department.

• Cross train with the Customer Service-Commercial Division to provide support during the nonpeak season.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required Education: Associate degree or High School diploma with equivalent customer service experience in a consumer goods industry.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively collaborating with others.

• Strong self-starter who actively initiates projects and drives projects to completion.

• Skilled at handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with a reputation for being accurate, responsive, and well organized.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and Outlook

• Ability to handle periods of high activity.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Call center experience with the ability to resolve customer issues in a short time frame.

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Work Environment:

• The performance of this position requires exposure to the warehouse, which requires employees to wear close toed shoes.

• The individual is exposed to a typical office environment with ambient room temperature, lighting, and traditional office equipment.

Physical Requirements:

: • While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk a minimum of 8 hours per day.

• Individuals may be required to reach above shoulder height, below waist or lift as required to file documents or to reach for product throughout the workday; lifting will include up to 25 pounds. Proper lifting techniques are required. The physical and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
