Broad River Animal Hospital is looking for a skilled, compassionate and enthusiastic veterinary technician who is available on Wednesdays. Other days can be negotiated according to your availability and hospital needs.

We are a privately owned 4 doctor practice in Norwalk CT, with a skilled and fun clinical support team. Our doctors perform routine exams and surgeries, routine and complicated dentals, and we have specialists come in when necessary for things like echos. We will have a part time boarded IM doctor in 2024, so in house ultrasounds and the like will be increasing. We have a great daytime schedule that works well for your work/life balance (never here past 6pm, close at 2 on Saturdays, and never open on Sundays). Our techs are encouraged to practice at the top of their abilities and skill set.

Who YOU are: A skilled enthusiastic tech who loves the technical side of things - you love helping your patients by accurately reading cytologies, performing smooth and gentle venipuncture for blood draws and catheter placements, obtaining the sterile urine sample via cystocentesis, getting that perfect diagnostic radiograph, and more. You like being a "treatment" tech, where the exam room assistant may bring you a patient from the exam room to perform a clip and clean on a wound, or bandage a paw with a broken nail, while the DVM consults with the owner in the room.

MUST be available 8-5 on Wednesdays. Other days are negotiable, based on your availability and the hospital's needs - which are increasing.
