The Company’s program pipeline comprises precision exposome medicine biomarkers and target discovery across disease domains for which historically no molecular endpoints have been available in medical practice or for clinical trials, including CNS (autism spectrum disorder, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), gastroenterology (inflammatory bowel disease), renal disease and oncology.

Job Description

The Testing Personnel carries out the following laboratory functions in compliance with CLIA/CAP while adhering to the QA/QC requirements: sample logistics; sample preparation and analysis; instrument (LA-ICPMS) maintenance and troubleshooting as required. Testing Personnel is expected to work in shifts (morning 7:30 to 15:30 hrs., evening 14:30 to 22:00 hrs.).

Core Job Functions

  1. Effectively performs laboratory testing and reporting of results in an accurate, timely, and efficient manner while adhering to all laboratory SOPs and QA/QC policies.
  2. Effectively performs equipment operation and maintenance, including function checks, as scheduled with documentation according to laboratory policies.
  3. Carries out sample logistics including specimen handling, testing, documenting and communicating unacceptable specimens.
  4. Adheres to the laboratory safety program; continuously review and study the laboratory safety policies and procedures, in accordance with current regulations, standards, and accrediting agencies.
  5. Ensures all laboratory equipment is maintained and functions appropriately.
  6. Fulfill the required trainings diligently; assist in training the laboratory staff and continuous improvement of laboratory processes.
  7. Effectively performs other duties and projects as assigned by the supervisors.

Core Qualifications

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of working experience in an academic or industry laboratory. Prior experience in CLIA, mass spectrometry, laser ablation are preferred.
