We are currently seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in our climate-controlled machine shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding various metal components with precision and accuracy, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding operations using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements.
  • Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and applying appropriate welding techniques.
  • Inspect welds to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and solve technical challenges.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to welding operations.
  • Welding certification or vocational training is a plus.
