Pay: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour, depending on experience + room to grow

Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday

At Day Wireless Systems, our Sr. Radio Technicians ideally will have a minimum of 5 + years relevant experience in Radios (Motorola) operations and maintenance, RF spectrum dependent telecommunications systems and equipment, including (but not limited to) Trunked Land Mobile Radio Systems, Microwave Systems, Conventional Land Mobile Radio Systems, DAS, and other wireless applications.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5 - 7 years’ experience in 2-way radio
  • An industry license (FCC, FICA or NARTE). CET or NABER certification.
  • Thorough knowledge of wireless communications systems, electronic and RF principles, and NetSuite operations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems with communications systems and use optimizations and basic system design skills.
  • Ability to repair and maintain operation of complex radio systems and 911 communications centers. Thorough knowledge of infrastructure components including repeaters, mobiles, portables, and miscellaneous signaling equipment..

Some Of What You’ll Do:

  • Adjusts controls and tests systems using specified equipment and runs diagnostic checks.
  • Troubleshoots customer concerns and resolve issues with their communications system in the field and in the shop.
  • Installs, repairs and maintains equipment as indicated by results of testing and coordinate repairs with customers/vendors to ensure resolution of problem.
  • Assists with quotes and bids to determine customer needs.
  • Maintains operation of complex radio systems and 911 communications centers.
  • Performs system programming following industry practices.
  • Completes installation of radio and wireless mobile and base communications systems.
