Lead Electrician

$23 per hour and can come with a company vehicle after training. Dependent on driving record. Must have own tools. 

We are searching for a Lead Electrician with at least 3-5 years of experience for an HVAC Electrician to join a leading HVAC Company located in the State College, PA surrounding area.

Shift: 1st Shift Mon - Fri.

Pay Rate: $20-$23 per hour + company vehicle after training

The HVAC Electrician will be able to complete preventive and reactive work orders, candidate will be able to install, trouble shoot, and repair facility HVAC systems, and repair facility electrical distribution systems, electronics, automation systems, lighting systems, apparatus, and devices and devices. Advanced skills and knowledge of motor controls, and logic control systems is a priority. Qualified candidates should be familiar with low voltage systems, fire alarm systems, and voice and data systems. Position provides quality control using guidelines from the National Electrical Code, local codes, safety regulations and standard practices. The candidate will regularly lead projects of criticality to campus and beyond with high consequences of success or failure. The employee has impact and influence on campus policy and program development. Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Demonstrate basic safe work practices based on company and customer policies and procedures
• Maintenance of ighting, task lighting, parking lot lighting, lighting contactors, emergency lights/exit lights, 120-volt outlets, photoelectric eyes for exterior building lighting, and lighting contactors that are controlled by the energy management system

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• 3-5 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must possess applicable certifications, licenses and a valid driver's license
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, and memos
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations of customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
