This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced newspaper journalist dedicated to their craft to thrive in an exciting and rewarding atmosphere.
Duties of the page editor/reporter include:
- Paginating newspaper pages on deadline.
- Writing accurate and engaging headlines.
- Copy editing.
- Some reporting and writing responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Mac-based Adobe InDesign.
- Have an eye for newspaper design and typography.
- Be able to produce pages in a fast-paced deadline environment.
- Experience in newspaper reporting.
This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for advancement. Consideration will be given to candidates seeking part-time employment. Salary and benefits are competitive.
Candidates will be asked for samples of their previous work.
