Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a RDA
  • Proficiency in EagleSoft or similar dental software
  • Knowledge of general dentistry procedures
  • Proficiency in anatomy and dental terminology
  • Professional demeanor, integrity, dependability, accuracy and kindness
  • Goal Oriented with a great work ethic
  • Ability to multitask and able to stay organized with an attention to detail
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage other team members well is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • X-Ray Certification (Required)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing patients and the work area: ensuring patient comfort
  • Sterilizing instruments
  • Assisting dentists in various general and some specialty dental procedures
  • Educating patients: teach patients about proper oral hygiene and provide aftercare instructions.
  • Taking x-rays
  • Managing records, knowledge/proficiency with dental software such as EagleSoft.
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Working with billing
  • Maintaining a clean environment
  • Ensuring highest level of patient car
  • Maintain and update patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
  • Practice four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient patient care
  • Proficiency/knowledge in and of digital scanning i.e. PrimeScan, iTero
  • Optimize patient comfort and prioritize patient/provider relationship

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week

Experience:
• Dental assisting: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
• X-Ray Certification (Required)

Work Location: In person
