Job Summary

Khaboodles Pet Supplies & Grooming is searching for an experienced Pet Groomer to join our new grooming business. As a Pet Groomer, you will bathe and trim cats & dogs according to breed-specific standards and owner preferences. You will also trim nails, clean ears, detangle hair, and generally ensure that pets look and feel their best. MUST be customer-focused. If you are reliable, compassionate, and have a love for pets, we want to hear from you * We are offering a $500 sign-on bonus.

Khaboodles is owned by KD Janitorial Services.

Set your own hours.
Open Mon – Sat, 10 – 7pm.
We are a small location that holds 1 – 2 pets max.
Commission based
You keep 100% of tips

Responsibilities

• Brush and detangle or remove matted fur
• Bathe and dry coat
• Execute a variety of clipping techniques and style requests
• Examine for parasites or other skin conditions
• Trim nails
• Ensure the safety of pet at all times
• Adhere to strict sanitary and cleaning procedures
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with pet owners

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dog grooming technician or similar role/new grooming school graduate.
• Comfortable working with anxious animals
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift large dogs over 60 pounds
• Able to communicate effectively with owners
• Strong attention to detail
