Masterpiece Millwork & Door (aka Magleby Construction) is looking to hire a full-time Door & Millwork AutoCAD Drafter. This position analyzes projects to create 2D and 3D shop drawings for production, using knowledge of fabrication assemblies and millwork engineering expertise.

This position works in a team with designers/project managers as well as autonomously.

Duties may include:

• Creating complete shop drawings from basic concept sketches
• Sifting through complex Architectural plan sets and create proposals (including complete door schedules, concept drawings & shop drawings)
• Identify design challenges and provide solutions
• Assisting in part-listing when necessary
• Willing to perform any type of labor on an as-needed basis
• Working hard and in a team environment

Job Requirements:

Successful individuals possess the following attributes:

• Experience as an AutoCAD Drafter in the Millwork industry
• Proficient using AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision and MasterCAM
• Understands millwork fabrication assemblies (wood passage & entry door assemblies)
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Work well under pressure with multiple projects at a time
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Experience with purchasing, inventory reconciliation, scheduling and hands on woodworking experience (especially with emphasis in Architectural Doors, Cabinetry and Moldings) are a plus.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work - Millwork Facility (Shop) is in Lindon, Utah
