DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY

The Phillip Charles Group has been servicing the local metro Detroit area for the past 30 years and has built incredibly strong partnerships with our clients, candidates, and employees. We have worked with our current client for the past 5 years and they are looking for a Warehouse Forklift Operator for a Direct Hire opportunity based out of their Melvindale, MI. location.
 

Forklift Responsibilities:

• Operate the forklift to load and unload customer material
• Using the barcode scanner to scan material
• Ensure that the driver signs all required paperwork.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Start Time 7am or 8am | Monday – Friday | $16.25
| 8-10 hour shifts | Voluntary overtime is offered often during the work week and for Saturdays. Overtime may be forced when needed.

Warehouse Skills Needed:

• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
• Okay with all weather

Education/Minimum Qualifications Required

• High School diploma or GED
• Drug screen and physical required
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Basic computer skills are a plus
• Facility is not temperature controlled so seasonal appropriate clothing needed
