Maintenance & IT Support Tech -Bethlehem, PA

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is primarily responsible for performing installation, general/preventive maintenance and repairs on all physical structures and certain facility equipment, as well as ground maintenance in compliance with established safety rules, policies, and procedures. Must have knowledge of and is able to assist with basic IT functions such as fixing printers, computers, and software installation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Perform schedule maintenance checks throughout the facility which may include assisting inspectors and contractors in the testing, inspecting or repair of equipment, building/mechanical systems, and structure; responds to all emergencies such as fire, smoke, panic, alarms,
· Assist in basic computer hardware installation and troubleshooting (Required)
· Basic computer skills including Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook. etc.).
· Performs and/or assists in scheduled maintenance on equipment according to manufacturer’s recommendations and operation manuals.
· Use a variety of hand and power tools and materials handling equipment in performing duties.
· Perform minor painting and carpentry.
· Responds to emergency maintenance requests.
· Keep maintenance and storage areas neat and orderly.
· Perform Support for HVAC, access control, RF guns, Security cameras, Computers, printers, USB scanners, etc.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS and ABILITIES
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience: Three+ years of hands-on maintenance in an industrial/distribution environment,
Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft suite of products including Excel, Word, and Outlook,
Other Skills: Proactive thinking, strong communication skills, ability to work well under pressure, attention to detail, and possess strong time management skills.
