Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Clerk to join our candy department. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring the availability of stock, and supporting the overall efficiency of the candy warehouse operations. This role involves regular interaction with suppliers, warehouse staff, and management to facilitate smooth inventory processes.

Pay: $21-25 DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels; track orders, deliveries, and shipments of candy products.
  • Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Record and update inventory data in the inventory management system.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in inventory management or warehouse operations, preferably within the food or candy industry.
  • Proficiency in inventory management, particularly Excel and Access
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving boxes of candy.

Work Environment:

  • Warehouse setting with occasional office work.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and handle candy products.
