Position: City Manager
Salary: Commensurate with experience and skills
Responsibilities:
1. Local Market Research
Learn about the laws and local culture of the city. Through research, become familiar with and
understand the operating models, operating rules, competitive landscape, business scale (daily
volume of parcels, driver capacity), daily work flow of drivers, usage of APP products, and the
addresses and size of warehouses of the main express companies in the local area.Oversee daily
scheduling of warehouse personnel, supervise their work, and ensure the accuracy and
timeliness of sorting;
2. Building and Managing Local Teams
* Recruit, train, and manage warehouse management, driver management, and customer service
personnel. Define job responsibilities for each position and establish salary standards.
Responsible for task allocation, scheduling, and performance evaluation for the local team.
3. Upstream Customer Business Development
* Continuously develop upstream customer business, including freight forwarders and local
e-commerce platforms (such as Wish, Walmart, Mango, Amazon, eBay, and Shopify), and fully
grasp the latest industry trends and information to secure more sources of goods for the
company.
4. Driver Recruitment
* Establish local hiring standards: ethnicity, cooperation mode, salary standards, delivery
workload standards, and internal cost control. Manage and monitor driver performance and
establish performance indicators. Sign contracts with drivers and report to the headquarters on a
timely basis regarding the management and delivery efficiency of the fleet.
5. Warehouse Leasing
* Clarify leasing needs, choose leasing locations, and identify leasing channels. Submit a leasing
inspection report. Responsible for the safe operation of the leased warehouse after it is put into
use.
6. Last-Mile Delivery Operations
* Deeply understand the key challenges and difficulties of local operations and design a localized
business model. (1) Develop standard warehouse management SOP and driver training SOP,
detailing key points of work, and supervising the efficiency of SOP implementation (2) Warehouse
safety management (3) Labor management, including labor volume and labor efficiency etc. (4)
Monitor delivery time efficiency, and respond promptly to emerging problems (5) Driver
management (6) Cost control (piece-average sorting cost, piece-average delivery cost, etc.)
Requirements:
U.S. Permanent Resident (PR) or Citizen status;
One to three years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment;
Ability to drive forklifts and hold legal documents;
Proficiency in computer skills, especially in Outlook, Excel, and ERP warehouse systems;
Flexible schedule, able to work overtime or on weekends as needed;
Priority given to candidates who speak Chinese.Benefits:
