As a Windows and Azure Server and Cloud Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining an organization’s cloud infrastructure on the Azure platform. Your responsibilities will span both on-premises and cloud-based environments. Let’s delve into the specifics:

1. Azure Infrastructure Management:

Set up and manage virtual machines, storage, and networking resources on the Azure platform.

Monitor the performance of the cloud environment to ensure maximum uptime and minimal downtime.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, security experts, and DevOps engineers, to deliver seamless Azure-powered solutions.

2. On-Premises Active Directory and Domain Controller Administration:

Administer and maintain on-premises Active Directory services, including user accounts, group policies, and domain controllers.

Ensure proper authentication, authorization, and access control for users and devices within the organization.

3. Azure Identity and Access Management:

Configure and manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for identity and access management.

Implement Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and role-based access control (RBAC) in Azure AD.

4. Azure App Services:

Deploy, monitor, and maintain Azure App Services (Web Apps, API Apps, and Mobile Apps).

Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues related to app deployment and scaling.

5. Azure Defender for Endpoint:

Set up and configure Azure Defender for Endpoint (formerly Microsoft Defender ATP) to protect endpoints from threats.

Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and implement remediation actions.

6. Networking and VoIP:

Support networking equipment at office locations and data centers.

Understand VLANs (Virtual LANs) and ensure proper network segmentation.

Familiarity with VoIP (Voice over IP) technologies and their integration within the network infrastructure.

7. Cisco IOS:

Proficiency in Cisco IOS (Internetwork Operating System) for managing Cisco networking devices.

Configure routers, switches, and firewalls to maintain network connectivity and security.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are highly desirable.

Experience: Proven experience in Windows server administration, Azure management, and network administration.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address complex issues.

Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Location - This position is office-based and does not support remote work.
