Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and eager individual to join our team as an Electrical Apprentice. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced electricians to learn the skills and knowledge necessary to become a qualified electrician. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the electrical trade and eager to kick-start their career in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
  • Learn how to safely use tools and equipment such as wire strippers, pliers, voltage testers, and power drills.
  • Assist with the installation of wiring, conduit, switches, outlets, and other electrical components.
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with codes.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and assist with repairs as directed by supervising electricians.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Enrolled in or completed a recognized electrical apprenticeship program is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interest in the electrical trade and willingness to learn.
  • Basic understanding of electrical concepts and principles is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring manual labor.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
