Toolmaker

A long-established company in Grayslake, IL is looking for a Toolmaker to join their 1st shift team This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity

Requirements of the Toolmaker

· Sinker EDM Machines and electrode construction experience

· Previous experience building small to medium size precision Die Cast Dies and Plastic Injection Molds from tooling drawings and piece part prints

· Experience running Lathes, Surface Grinders, Milling Machines

Responsibilities of the Toolmaker

· Plans machining by analyzing work orders, blueprints, sketches, models, and/or descriptions to determine dimensions and setup requirements

· Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material as guides for subsequent machining as necessary

· Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines as necessary to machine parts as required

· Observes machine operation to detect malfunctions and adjust machine controls as required

Schedule is 1st shift, DIRECT HIRE

Pay is $35.00 - $37.00 an hour, based on experience
