As a Client Accounting Associate, you will act as a primary point of contact for clients and build relationships through excellent customer service. You will be responsible for:
- General bookkeeping including bank and credit card account reconciliations, posting income and expenses to the general ledger, maintain client fixed asset and debt schedules, calculating and filing sales tax and B&O tax obligations.
- Payroll processing including calculating and entering payroll information, print paychecks or transmit direct deposits, calculate and remit federal and state taxes, calculate and track accrued vacation, sick time, and other benefits, issuing W-2s and 1099s, and providing payroll information for insurance audits.
- Supporting the firm partners and other departments with special projects and tax return support, as needed.
