The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is hiring a Lab Support Specialist for a world-class Life Science client near Gaithersburg, MD.

Responsibilities

  • Report any concerns and ensure they are supported and closed out in a timely fashion for the scientific community
  • Meet regularly with lab service providers, lab staff, and lab management
  • Be point of contact for equipment maintenance and decommissioning of old instruments and related documentation
  • Assist in onboarding of new instruments
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
  • Perform inventory activities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry desirable
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Team player

Additional Details:

  • Not a hands-on lab testing role. Will provide operational lab support where needed.
  • 1 year contract with possibility for extension or conversion
  • 100% onsite position
  • Pay rate range: $23-28/hr depending on experience

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
