Picking Manager – Case Pack
- LOCATION: Parsippany, NJ
- HOURS: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm
- PAY RATE: $22-$24/hr
Job Summary:
The Picking Supervisor – will oversee all picking specific to our clients case pack orders.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Responsible for training of new employees.
• Schedules and oversees warehouse staff.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Duties/Responsibility:
• Setting up all Case packs in system, style, color, size, upc weight /dims/cubes from inbound packing slips
• Palletize all inbound Casepack
• Creating all the Casepack ID’S to identify product
• Update all inbound receiving inventory to determine what is available for Order processing to allocate EDI Orders
• Run all reports on all open orders to determine what the next groups to ship are based on start / cancel dates
• Notifies Corporate Sales Team of any late product when orders are allocated, lead/direct team through picking / packing of case pack process
o Scanning of each carton to assign it to an order until the order is completed
o Scanning of the carton on the pallet once picking is completed to build the pallet and move onto a conveyer
o Once all the cartons go thru the conveyer, determine what loose pieces have to be picked/ packed manually that are not case pack ordered by JCP
o Once all the picking/packing is completed, review the shortages based on inbound and work with Corporate Sales Team to communicate to JCP on shortages/overages
o Once Corporate Sales approves, works with order processing to reflect necessary changes on orders
• when orders are completed, work with routing/shipping to determine what needs to be routed based on dates
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with data entry and inventory software and warehouse management systems.
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
Education and Experience:
• Associate degree in Business or similar discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in distribution or manufacturing required.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
