Lead Painter

Job DescriptionJob Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Painter to join our team. The Lead Painter will be responsible for painting apartments for turnovers and performing exterior painting work as needed. Majority of the work is located but not limited to the towns of Hamburg and Orchard Park.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and execute painting projects for apartment turnovers, ensuring high-quality results and timely completion.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching and applying primer as necessary.
• Select appropriate paints and finishes for proper rooms
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and addresses any touch-ups or corrections as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and maintenance of painting equipment and supplies.
• Assist with exterior painting projects, including but not limited to, painting siding, trim, doors, and other exterior surfaces.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a painter, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in residential painting.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to work independently and manage painting projects from start to finish.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and customers.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
