Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

 

  • Reviewing markups and draw details in CAD/Revit.
  • Design work in HVAC, plumbing and fire protection.
  • Implement and reinforce CAD/Revit standards within the company.
  • Pick up redlines utilizing AutoCAD and Revit for different engineering fields.
  • Coordinate with engineers and make sure markups are being addressed properly and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare design and construction submission package.
  • Coordinate and attend meetings when required to meet client’s CAD/Revit expectations.
  • Assist the engineers with any CAD/Revit, drafting need.

 

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

 

  • Technical and/or Associate's Degree
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Member of professional practice organization
  • Professional Draftsman
  • Strong analytical and communications skills
  • Previous experience in mechanical engineering; such as HVAC Systems, Plumbing Systems & Pump and water systems.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing designs or schematics
  • Knowledge of basics of Drafting techniques, developing sections.
  • Ability to design in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary engineering team on multiple projects.
  • Knowledge in local and national codes and standards
  • Ability to coordinate with other disciplines and projects
