Your RoleThe Residential Therapist will participate in a full continuum of care through facilitating group therapy, individual therapy, assessment, and case management, as well as, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Willingness to work 1 evening group session each week.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure – LCAC, LCACa, LCSW, LMHC, LMHCa, LMFT, or MSW, LSW
• 2+ years of experience in a clinical role preferred
• Experience in Substance use disorder field preferred
• Competency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
• Comfortable working with electronic health records
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Personal passion or interest in substance abuse issues strongly preferred
• Commitment to drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use is essential
• Authorization to work in the US is required

ResponsibilitiesOur therapists plan, conduct, and improve high intensity group and individual psychotherapy for patients in the residential treatment setting. This role works independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of an integrated team.

Our Therapists:

• Are responsible for a set of assigned number of patients
• Select appropriate treatment modalities and carry them out in individual sessions
• Assist with all discharge planning patient needs including FMLA, Short Term Disability, and Sober Housing needs
• Attend weekly treatment team meetings.
• Work cooperatively and collaboratively with everyone, especially on the treatment teams
• Work cooperatively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies
• Willing to work 1 evening group session per week
• Do additional duties as assigned
• Report directly to the Clinical Director
