Job Description

Essential Functions:

·        Identify all areas in need of prepping for buffing/sanding or any other repairs before proceeding to paint application

·        Mix to specified color using standard formulas, color charts and factory recommended specifications

·        Ability to sand, mask, blend, and polish finish. Apply or retouch paint as necessary

·        Full Spray Booth Operations

·        Duties may include final sanding, masking, applying primers sealers color and clear coats, operate prep stations, color mixing and tinting

·        Works with potentially hazardous materials so attention to safety and personal protection are essential

·        Remain conscious of and make every effort to achieve the objectives outlined on the cars scheduled

·        Communicate directly with shop manager on current jobs and any delays

·        Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Required Skills

·        At least 10 years of experience in automotive refinishing

·        At least 10 years of experience in the auto or truck repair and paint industry

·        Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

·        Maintain a good work attitude and cooperate with managers and fellow teammates in a positive spirit of teamwork 

·        Remain conscious of and make every effort to achieve the objectives outlined on the delivery list of cars scheduled 

·         Strong attention to detail

·         Occasional O.T. as needed

·         The ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends.

Pay range is DOE

  Located in North Hollywood, CA
