Construction Laborer

We’re seeking experienced Construction Laborers to join our team in the Kingston, NY area. Please send several references and a description of your previous experience in construction.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of experience in construction

• Strong physical stamina, can lift heavy objects, handle the demands of the job

• Attention to detail, perform tasks precisely to specifications, problem-solve

• Reliable, on-time to work, flexible and motivated

• Basic to advanced understanding of construction tools, equipment, and concepts

• Good communication skills, with the ability to work on a team and converse/understand English (Spanish as well a plus)

• Must be safety conscious and wear protective equipment

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Reside in Kingston, NY or within 30 min drive

Responsibilities:

Assist in various home renovation projects, including but not limited to:

• Setup and cleanup of renovation sites

• Demolition work, including removing existing structures or fixtures

• Loading and unloading materials and equipment

• Operating hand and power tools proficiently

• Assisting with various aspects of remodeling, such as finish carpentry, drywall installation, painting, and flooring

• Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems for assistance purposes a plus

• Installing construction components, such as pipes, beams, and rebar

• Following safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment

• Maintaining a clean and organized work area throughout the project
