We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As a Physical Therapist at Orthopedic and Sports Therapy of Kenner, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic programs to help patients regain physical function, improve mobility, and manage pain. Your expertise will contribute to the overall recovery and well-being of our patients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions to diagnose issues and develop treatment plans.

- Provide effective and safe physical therapy treatments tailored to individual patient needs.

- Educate patients and their families on ongoing treatment, exercises, and lifestyle adjustments.

- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

- Maintain up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

- Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and healthcare trends.

- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist.

- Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care principles.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

- Compassionate, patient-centric approach with a commitment to high-quality care.

- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
