Sr. Desktop Support Technician
Job Summary:
Provides advanced-level application support to employees. Maintains personal computers and related hardware. Assists Network Engineers with installation of software and hardware.
Work Experience:
- Performs advanced-level computer system maintenance, repairs, and installations.
- Monitors and controls computer equipment by operating the central console or an online monitor.
- Monitors hardware systems using operating systems utilities.
- Actively identifies problems in the department, reports them to the supervisor, pursues feedback, and actively participates in resolution methods.
- Analyzes existing methods and develop alternatives to increase operations and production efficiency.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Dell certification: Preferred
- Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) - Infrastructure and Desktop: Preferred
- CompTIA Certifications: Preferred
EDUCATION:
High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
Two years' technical experience: Preferred
Organizational Requirements:
