Schedule- Monday- Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and certified Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move materials and products within our warehouse or production facility. This role requires attention to safety, efficiency, and the ability to handle various types of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and transport materials within the facility.
  • Safely load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring proper placement and securement.
  • Utilize RF scanners to track and manage inventory, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and organization.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

  • Valid forklift certification is required.
  • Proficiency in using RF scanners and other warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Bilingual skills (preferred) to facilitate communication in a diverse workplace.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and operate forklifts for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs consistently.
  • Comfortable working in various warehouse conditions, including exposure to noise and varying temperatures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

 

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
