Maintenance Tech | near Plainfield, IN | 1st or 3rd | up to $36/hour

Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with a manufacturer near the Plainfield, IN area that is looking to hire on a Maintenance Technician for both 1st and 3rd shift We're looking for candidates with maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry, who have both mechanical and electrical knowledge. Please read below.

 

DIRECT HIRE

LOCATION: near Plainfield, IN - SW side of Indianapolis

PAY: $30-$36/hour + increases over time.

SHIFT: 1st shift (5A-5P, 2-2-3 schedule) or 3rd shift (5P-5A, 2-2-3 schedule). 

BENEFITS: Medical, dental vision, goes through Anthem (blue cross/blue shield) 401k match of 4%, nurse 24/7 hotline, attendance bonuses

 

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot industrial manufacturing equipment, making electrical and mechanical repairs.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and make slight adjustments to PLC systems (Allen Bradley & Siemens). 
  • Repair and diagnose HMIs, vision systems, and robotic equipment (FANUC). 
  • Correctly follow the preventative maintenance schedule for general upkeep of industrial machinery.
  • Analyze manufacturing process and provide continuous improvement input.
  • Use electrical knowledge to hook up wires on new equipment.

Requirements:

  • Electrical and mechanical aptitude is required.
  • Experience in a maintenance position for a manufacturing company is required.
