Job DescriptionJob Description

Youth Counselors provide supervision, advocacy, intensive skills development instruction, and monitoring for students with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive struggles.

Youth Counselor Essential Duties:

  • Monitor/supervise students
  • Co-facilitate activities
  • Follow daily program schedule - keep students on task
  • Advocate for student needs within the program
  • Assist with Skills Development Service (SDS) classes

 

Requirements to apply for the Youth Counselor position:

  • Must be 20 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid Drivers license and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a Background Check (BCI)

 

Requirements if hired as Youth Counselor:

  • Must obtain Food Handlers Permit - within 30 days of hire
  • Must obtain CPR/First Aid Certification - within 30 days of hire
  • Attend pre-service and annual training- as required

 

*Offering Full Time & Part Time positions.
