Role Overview

We are seeking a talented individual who will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing financial operations and controls: rate setting analysis, budget preparation, cost/benefit analysis, forecasting, accounting financial reporting, contract and

procurement administration.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Plan, develop, monitor, and analyze the PMO annual operating budgets and CIP.
  • Reconcile audit to budget report methodology. Formulate projections, identify variances and other budgetary issues.
  • Formulate financial strategies and disseminate budget guidelines and targets to operational management that fit financial plan.
  • Direct and organize financial responsibilities to include AP/AR, payroll, and procurement.
  • Recommend and research funding strategies. Develop, analyze, and report performance metrics. Review and analyze costs of providing services continuously.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

  • Experience: at least FIVE years proven and progressive experience in accounting/financial management.
  • Contract Management
  • Municipal budget/accounting experience
