Seeking a Field Supervisor for a busy restoration company.

 

Tristate Fire Water Smoke is a family owned and operated restoration business that specializes in all aspects of fire, water and smoke damage. We are currently seeking a Field Supervisor to manage and complete jobs according to our processes and standards. The field supervisor will be responsible for the following tasks:

 

  • Respond to service calls
  • Coordinate expected job requirements with the crew
  • Complete proper job documentation, photos and measurements
  • Perform and supervise work tasks with crew, and monitor from start to finish
  • Follow and enforce all safety procedures on the job site.
  • Answer homeowner questions and explain processes in an efficient way

 

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate clear expectations to the crew and supervise their activities to ensure jobs are being completed properly
  • Resolve problems quickly as they arise
  • Manage job documentation to ensure complete and accurate details
  • Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly. Keep proper inventory list of all equipment and job materials 
  • Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, and warehouse as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • Effective written and oral communication
  • Experience in restoration preferred
  • High school diploma/GE
  • Must have a clean and valid license
  • Ability to travel out of state as all work is in Staten Island, Brooklyn,  Manhattan and NJ
  • Ability to work 10 hour work days at a minimum
  • Alternating Saturday’s are a must 
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus

 

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Exposure to chemicals
  • Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, and climbing
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
  • Ability to work in construction sites
  • Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects
